He is currently the harp teacher at the National Conservatory in the Dominican Republic and the Artistic & Executive director of the Association of Dominican Classical Artists and the Washington Heights Community Conservatory. 

Adan Vasquez

Dominican-born harpist Adán Vásquez principal harpist for the Gateways Music Festival, The Orquesta Filarmonica Dominicana and the Camerata Washington Heights, has appeared with the Chilean National Symphonic Orchestra, the Dominican National Symphony Orchestra and the Brooklyn Heights Symphony Orchestra. This important harpist of this new generation, gave his first solo harp recital in Rio De Janeiro Brazil in 2004 and he was recently invited to the First International Harp Festival in Rio de Janeiro "Música no Museu" where he gave also lectures and master classes about the Salzedo Technique.  He has premiered works of Dante Cucurullo, Ariel Pirotti, David Cieri, Rafael Solano, Pedro Giraudo and Eugenio Escobar that were commissioned by him.
