GivingTuesday 2025
The Association of Dominican Classical Artists is proud to participate in GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and generosity. Each year, our organization presents free orchestral and chamber music concerts in Upper Manhattan, dedicated to promoting and preserving the classical music traditions of the Dominican Republic and Latin America.
We also operate the Washington Heights Community Conservatory of Fine Arts (WHCCFA), a program committed to enriching the lives of children in under-served communities through inclusive and culturally responsive arts education. Through private lessons, ensemble work, music theory, and orchestra, WHCCFA provides young people in Washington Heights, Inwood, and Harlem with the tools to grow artistically and academically - regardless of socioeconomic background.
Your Support Makes This Possible
We cannot thrive without the generosity of our community. Your contribution directly supports our concerts, educational programs, and the development of young musicians. Beyond donating, you can help amplify our mission by spreading the word.
How You Can Be Part of GivingTuesday
1. Spread the word.
Share our mission with your friends, family, and community. Tell them why ADCA and WHCCFA matter to you, and encourage them to join our efforts. Use #GivingTuesday and tag us when you share!
2. Donate.
Your gift helps us continue providing free concerts, high-quality instruction, and essential resources to our students and community musicians.
Thank you for being part of our ADCA family.
Together, we can continue uplifting our community through music and arts education.
Our Projects
Concert Series
ADCA supports The ADCA Orchestra and the chamber ensemble La Camerata Washington Heights. In partnership with City College Center for the Arts, ADCA has presented five concerts a year for the last nine years. The concerts showcase performers from Latin America and promote the music of Latin American classical composers that have little chance to be heard in NYC.
WHCCFA
The Washington Heights Community Conservatory of Fine Arts is a space to enrich the lives of children in Washington Heights, Inwood and Harlem; communities that have been historically underserved in the areas of music and art instruction. The conservatory offers an inclusive culturally sensitive environment founded on the belief that instruction in the arts strengthens academic performance and transforms the lives of children regardless of socioeconomic background.
